Storage and handling
Freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder. Keep the vial sealed in a freezer at -20 °C; a fridge at 2 to 8 °C is fine for short periods. It draws moisture from the air and is sensitive to light, so keep it capped and in its box. Shelf life is 12 months from the lot release date when stored this way.
How this compound's lots are tested
Lots with a lab report are tested by an independent, named lab; a batch without one is clearly marked before purchase. Not every scope runs on every lot; the ledger entry for a given lot lists exactly which ones were run for it.
| Scope | On this compound's lots | What it establishes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identity | run | The report records the laboratory's identity assessment. Check the original document for the method and reference standard used. | An identity result alone does not establish quantity, purity, endotoxin levels, or sterility. |
| Purity | run | The percentage is reported using the laboratory's stated method. Different methods are not interchangeable; consult the original report. | Does not measure peptide mass per vial or establish identity, endotoxin levels, or sterility. |
| Endotoxin | run | A test called an LAL assay reports the level of bacterial toxin in the sample against a stated limit. | Does not establish that the vial is sterile, or confirm identity. |
| Sterility | run | The lab grows a sample to check for live microbial growth over the test period. | A result for one sample from the lot, not a guarantee for every vial. |
Batch reports
All lab resultsA lot identifies one batch. Read its laboratory report and review status below. An attached report does not mean a batch has been released for sale. A batch without a lab report is marked as such.

Nomenclature and aliases
- Also listed as
- Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide · NAD · beta-NAD
"NAD+" denotes the oxidized form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, sometimes written "NAD", "beta-NAD", or with the charge omitted. This is a dinucleotide, not a peptide, despite being sold alongside peptides in most catalogs.
